The Derm Project is a medical aesthetics and wellness clinic designed to help you look and feel your best. We offer evidence-based medically supervised treatments that are safe, effective and customized for you—no matter your skin type.

Project Objective

To launch a functional, easy-to-use digital platform for The Derm Project that clearly communicates its unique value proposition: medically supervised, inclusive aesthetic and wellness services for women. The goal was to establish an online presence with a simple, non-distracting design and a clear content style that minimized user friction, built immediate trust, and effectively guided clients to booking a consultation.

The project began with an extensive Discovery and Research phase. We conducted audience research to understand the specific needs of the target demographic - women with diverse skin tones seeking reliable care, clarity and medical expertise. This insight drove a strategy focused purely on functionality, inclusivity and trust.

Content Development

We started from the ground up to completely reorganize and rework existing content, establishing a clear, functional brand voice.

  • Tone and Language: The content style was defined as Trustworthy and Direct. We consciously avoided overly flowery or luxurious language, opting instead for a simple, professional, and empathetic tone that put the focus entirely on medical facts and client support.
  • Information Architecture: This involved a complete overhaul of the site structure to create clear, linear user journeys. We prioritized simple navigation, ensuring that complex services (like HRT and medical weight loss) were explained in brief, highly digestible sections, reducing the user's cognitive load.
  • Clarity and Brevity: New content was created to be immediately clear and concise, directly addressing user questions and simplifying the process of understanding advanced treatments.

Web Design & Development

The design process was aimed at creating a functional, non-distracting visual experience that fully supports the medical nature of the brand.

  • Aesthetic Principle: The aesthetic principle was minimalist and clean. We used a highly restrained color palette dominated by whites, light neutrals, and subtle warm tones to maintain a calm, clinical, and easy-to-read environment (as seen below).
  • User Interface (UI): We used ample white space and large, legible typography to ensure maximum accessibility and readability, prioritizing the content itself. The UI elements, like buttons and navigation, were designed to be straightforward and highly functional.
  • Focus on Action: Key calls to action, such as "Book Now", and “View Treatments” were strategically placed and designed to be immediately recognizable, streamlining the client's path from discovery to booking with zero visual clutter.
